Salty Turtle’s commitment to the local and global community begins and ends with Surf City and the greater Pender County area. Between drawing inspiration for beers from local lore, sourcing ingredients from nearby vendors, a quarterly charity beer, and frequent events to benefit local nonprofits, sense of community is sewn into the fabric of the brewery. Salty Turtle Beer Company is constantly searching for ways to achieve sustainability. Upon identifying the challenge of eliminating single-use plastic waste, the decision was made to look for a more eco-friendly option for 4-pack holders for cans. Thus the decision to partner with E6PR, a company dedicated to creating & manufacturing biodegradable & compostable 4- & 6-pack holders. Read more here to learn about their mission.
